"A Visit from Grandma" is the first part of the tenth episode of Fred: The Show. It aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on July 31, 2012. In this episode, Fred lost his grandmother so he disguises as her so no one will think he lost her.[1]

Episode Summary[]

Fred's grandma is coming. But, she disappears. So, Fred disguises as his grandma during her birthday party. Unfortunately, one of the party guests realizes the lie he's telling and now its a real problem.

  • This is the last apperance of Hilda, Fred's mom
  • When Fred’s grandma‘s crush, Burt comes upstairs to check on her since she wasn’t feeling well, he says to “Grandma” “Oh Grandma, what un wrinkly hands she has,“ Fred says “The better to slap you with!” Then Burt says “And what real teeth you have Grandma” Then Fred says “The better to enunciate Go Away! And then Burt says “And what an odd walker you have Grandma” And Fred says “The better to get away from you with”. It’s a parody of when Little Red Riding Hood is at her grandma‘s house and she’s talking to The Big Bad Wolf who’s disguised as her grandma.
  • Fred is the second character to disguise himself as a grandma the first is Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants in the episode “Gramma’s Secret Recipe”.
