McCurdy joined Fred from the beginning to the end of Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred playing Bertha, but was soon replaced by Daniella Monet. McCurdy has stated that she loved being with the cast, but she had just been offered a role in a movie, so decided to go there, but said it was 'for the best'.
