The first season of Fred: The Show was announced on June 24, 2011. A sneak peek aired on December 23, 2011 and the series officially premiered on January 16, 2012. The season ended on December 15, 2012. Fred: The Show was renewed for a second season which 28 episodes.
Critics call FRED a surprising horror take on an internet classic. From almost constant jumpscares, to uncalled for romantic scenes, to the inclusion of a small pomeranian, children and adults alike can't keep their shoes on! Due to post-production changes, a PG rating no longer suits the content which led to the swift take off air and cancellation of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seasons.
